Creating Winning Campaigns

Finalist logoOne of the regular bees in our bonnet at CME is the need to be able to substantiate what you say. In other words, it’s no good simply claiming to be the best, the biggest or the most innovative unless you can prove it.

It’s a principle we live by and our advice is always based on in depth market knowledge, experience of proven tactics and a methodical approach to researching the most appropriate campaign to meet clients’ objectives.

Substantiating our abilities as construction marketing experts is something we do every day but now we’ve also achieved third party endorsement by being shortlisted in the prestigious Construction Marketing Awards (CMA).

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) awards scheme recognises excellence in marketing for the construction sector and CME’s ‘Extra Mile’ campaign for specialist fit out contractor, VincentStokes, has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Direct Marketing’ category.

It was a very successful campaign for VincentStokes and demonstrates how we tailor our approach to meet the specific commercial goals and market conditions relevant to individual clients. It also demonstrates our commitment to creating campaigns aligned to clear commercial outcomes, which impressed the CMA judging panel – a who’s who of the construction sector.

Awards can be a great way to gain independent endorsement of your capabilities and drafting the entry can also provide a useful way of focusing on what you do and how it’s exceptional. Sometimes, it is not until you articulate the detail of what you have achieved that you can take a step back and take an objective view of your USPs.

As a shortlisted finalist in the CMAs, we’re delighted to have gained such positive feedback on one of the many campaigns we’ve designed and delivered over the past year. We’re also excited about what lies ahead for our clients because, like any marketing agency, we’re only as good as our last campaign.
